Purpose of application:
This material is used to putty gaps in the corners of the mold (consists of 4 bronze walls) during the preparation of the mold,
which allows during the start of the mold to exclude the passage of metal into the joint of the walls of the mold and the suspension of the ingot in the corners of the mold, thereby ensuring trouble-free start of the mold.
Features:
Ferruginous iron (cement) is a one-component polymer paste, the recommended packaging is in the finished form of 1-5 kg. Putty should not contain toxins or other harmful substances, have heat resistance, retain refractory properties when heated to 1600 0C, polymerize quickly. The curing time of the paste is about 2 hours with a layer thickness of 1-2 mm. The solution should acquire full technological strength under temperature loads.
Have long-lasting adhesion to materials such as glass, concrete, ceramics, stone, steel, cast iron, and other metals.
Be effective as protection: ensures the safety of molds, crystallizers and surfaces with minimal labor intensity;
to increase the operational life of firing systems, mills;
safety: does not emit toxins.
